Charles attended Texas Christian University, graduating with a BS in the field of Geology. He worked for a short time in the early 80's in the Petroleum Industry. Upon the collapse of the domestic oil exploration industry, he trained in sales and began selling new homes. Charles moved into Insurance Sales after several years and spent six years as a salesman and sales trainer. Since the early 1990s Charles has worked in the Electronic Payment Processing industry, the last five years with Wells Fargo. Currently he supports Wells Fargo business bankers and their customers in the Midwest from his base in Des Moines, Iowa where he lives with his wife Anne and his two sons Jacob (14) and Alex (11). In addition to his work, Charles serves on the governing board of his church and is Scoutmaster of a local Boy Scout troop.
