Denis H Carroll began his business career in banking in the early
1960's as a commercial loan officer. During this time he was called
upon to develop a Marketing Department for a large national bank.
This led to further responsibilities in banking and eventually the
chairmanship of Chicago suburban bank. In the 1970's he acquired
a small manufacturing company and over the next three decades developed
an industrial holding company with manufacturing in fourteen states
and four foreign countries.
Denis has served directorships on both the NYSE and NASDAQ as well
as privately held corporations. He has been a member of several
national trade associations including the National Fluid Power Association
where he served in various capacities as Treasure through Charmin
of the Board
A graduate of Boston College, he has served on the board of Trustees
and as a member of France Committee. Denis has been a Trustee of
DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois and has Chaired in Finance
Committee of the Board. His Graduate level education includes Harvard
Business School, OPM program
Other civic responsibilities have included Rancheros Visitadores
and the Charlie Russell Riders. He continues to pursue his life
long interest in horsemanship in both Illinois and his winter home
in Arizona. He is the owner of the ProEquine Group, which includes
Cactus Ropes, Fast Back Ropes, Pro Equine Products, Heel-O-Matic
and the Cactus Saddlery
With his continued interest in the Western Culture, he is a member
of the Board Of Directors of the National Cowboy and Western Heritage
Museum where he served on the Executive Committee, the Audit and
Finance Committee and the Chairs the Rodeo Committee of the Board.
In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Working
Ranch Cowboys Foundation.
An avid golfer, he enjoys his membership in the golf clubs in Lake
Forest IL, Scottsdale AZ and Palm Beach FL.
In his spare time he enjoys being with his five children; Catharine,
twins Patrick and Bridget, Molly and Allison, as well as his six
grand children
