As a Heartland Alliance of America Member, you receive access to the Private Healthcare System (PHCS) Hospital-Only Network. This program provides you with an unprecedented choice of hospitals.

Please note while you may seek care from the provider of your choice, by choosing a provider within the network you will receive a discount.

The PHCS network is the largest proprietary provider network in the country with more than 3,700 hospitals nationwide. In addition to offering you a quality network of hospitals, PHCS will also reduce your out-of-pocket expenses at the time services are rendered.

PHCS has negotiated reimbursement arrangements with the hospitals in its network that result in significant cost savings and when you visit an in-network hospital these savings are passed on to you.

Your ID Card is important

Your Personalized Heartland Alliance of America ID card is very important. It is verification that you have access to the PHCS network of hospitals, and it includes important information and phone numbers for both you and the hospital.

Always present your Heartland National and Regional PPN/Pharmacy card, as well as your health insurance ID card, at the time of service to insure you receive the contracted rate.

In order to enjoy the savings of the PHCS Hospital Program, you must be enrolled in a health insurance program which does not have Preferred Provider Network access. For Members who purchase a health insurance program with Preferred Provider Network access, please consult your insurance carrier.

PHCS hospital discounts are not available in MD, VT and WV.
